In February 2001, Emmons’ wreck was re-discovered at a depth of about 110 to 145 feet, one of the few American ships lost off Okinawa in waters shallow enough for access by experienced divers. This was recently filmed by the History channel for airing Dec 08-Jan 09. This is one of the most complete wrecks you will ever see.
